– Limit foodstuff containing high Potassium  such as; potato, tomato, spinach, sauces, dressings, shrimp, kiwi, citrus juices, fig, apricot, dates, plum, watermelon and raisins.

– Cut down on Phosporous rich foods such as; dairy, ice cream, soybean, chocolate, coffee, nuts, luncheon meats, sausages, sodas, pumpkin and internal animal parts.

– Reduce Sodium intake. Maximum daily amount of sodium allowance is one level teaspoon.

– Avoid canned and preserved foods.

– In case of decrease in urination, drink at least 4-5 glasses of liquids per day and if vomiting increase this amount. In the presence of nausea and vomiting, limit Protein consumption to 30 – 40 grams per day and replace it by bread, rice and green vegetables.

– If facing Nephrotic symptoms and Protein loss, increase protein intake to 110-140 grams daily and consume high nutritional value foods such as ; eggs, dairy , red meat and chicken legs ( each chicken leg contains 7 Grams of Protein)
