Ingredients:
Egg | 1 |
Flour | 2 tablespoons |
Canola Oil | 1 tablespoon |
Soya sauce | 2 tablespoon |
Cider vinegar | 2 tablespoon |
Squash | 1/ cut into thick pieces |
Red Onion | 1 large/ cut into triangles |
Broccoli | 100 grams / separated heads |
Red Bell Pepper | 100 grams/ un-seed & cut into stripes |
Green Beans | 50 grams/ cut both ends |
Basil leaves | As garnish |
Salt | a pinch |
Instructions for dough:
Stir egg and mix in water. Add flour at once and stir quickly till it turns into soft dough.
Dip:
Mix cider vinegar & soya sauce.
Dumpling preparation:
Mix all vegetables. Take walnut-sized pieces of dough and stuff with vegetables. Shape
the stuffed dumpling.
Take a 2 inch deep pan and heat oil. Put a small piece of dumpling in the pan; if you hear the
sizzling, your oil is ready. Fry dumplings for 2-3 minutes on all sides till golden crisp. Place
on paper towel.
Garnish with basil leaves. Serve dumpling & dip. Dumplings are best served right after
frying. The high heat preserves the water soluble vitamins in the vegetables.
