Vegetable Dumplings


Egg 1
Flour 2 tablespoons
Canola Oil 1 tablespoon
Soya sauce 2 tablespoon
Cider vinegar 2 tablespoon
Squash 1/ cut into thick pieces
Red Onion 1 large/ cut into triangles
Broccoli 100 grams / separated heads
Red Bell Pepper 100 grams/ un-seed & cut into stripes
Green Beans 50 grams/ cut both ends
Basil leaves As garnish
Salt a pinch











Instructions for dough:
Stir egg and mix in water. Add flour at once and stir quickly till it turns into soft dough.
Mix cider vinegar & soya sauce.

Dumpling preparation:
Mix all vegetables. Take walnut-sized pieces of dough and stuff with vegetables. Shape
the stuffed dumpling.
Take a 2 inch deep pan and heat oil. Put a small piece of dumpling in the pan; if you hear the
sizzling, your oil is ready. Fry dumplings for 2-3 minutes on all sides till golden crisp. Place
on paper towel.
Garnish with basil leaves. Serve dumpling & dip. Dumplings are best served right after
frying. The high heat preserves the water soluble vitamins in the vegetables.
