Lentil & Spinach Soup

Ingredients:

Lentils 1 cup (cooked)= 240 cc
Spinach 1 cup (raw)
Chicken broth 1 cup= 240 cc
Fried chopped onion 1 tablespoon
Pomegranate paste 2 tablespoons
Tomato juice 1 cup=240cc
Salt & pepper & turmeric As desired


 

 

 

 

 


Preparation:
Put the tomato juice & chicken broth in a pot and add cooked lentils, fried onions and
spinach. Heat & simmer for 15 minutes. Add pomegranate paste and simmer for another
5 minutes.
This soup contains a high amount of Zinc & Iron which are great for growing children as well
as your hair & skin.
